If you still want a house phone, way better than a land line.
Saves a ton of money over land line, but in power outages you'll lose your phone connection. On the whole though, the land line isn't worth the money.
Wish it had caller id, so I can ignore the robo-callers. But I can get around it to some (but not full) extent by watching if the caller leaves a message. If it's someone I know, I call them back.
At setup time, It is very VERY slow connecting with the internet. Doesn't matter if you have a good wireless or even if you are connecting with ethernet. It's so slow that you wonder if it doesn't work at all. However, it does connect eventually and you only have to do it at setup time. If you leave it connected, it's only a one time inconvenience.
I disconnect mine at night to save electricity. A few minutes connecting in the morning is really not that big a deal to me.

At lightly used prices, worth consideration
1 of 1 found this helpful Great display, very good perf, Oxygen OS version a plus, excellent battery. At list price, may be more choices, but at the lightly used price, ($258) it was hard to beat. Go to nanoreview.net and plug in the used price comparison tool. It compares all the specs of two phones at the prices you are paying and scores which is the better buy on the whole. The camera may be not the absolute tops for the category, but I'm happy with it. I'm a photographer. When I want a good picture, I use my full-frame mirrorless, so any decent camera in the phone is fine for me. Iphone SE(2) was kind of small, seems old, and had deal-killing measly battery. Poco and Redmi aren't fully avail in US - They wouldn't work with Verizon based carriers. TCL support time (future versions and security updates) was too short.

poor design
Attractive, reasonably well made. But it leaves parts of the camera unprotected. The edging material is a kind that falls apart and is very ugly when it does. (fake leather that peels off when it gets older and sees some wear and inevitable abrasion). There is no way to close this thing so that it fits correctly. If you match the velcro tabs, it leaves gaping open spaces. If you try to pull it tighter, there is no place for the velcro tab on the flap to latch on to. So it sticks WAY out where it catches on stuff. The pieces should overlap more so that the camera is well covered, and when it closes, it should be tight, and tidy. Poor design, and bad material choice on edging.
