Rate and Review Sade - Soldier Of Love (Half-Speed Mastered, 180 Gram) (LP)
This European release UPC 196587848514 sounds all fine. Nice sound engineering and nice mastering.
Sound is rich and deep with fine pronounced stereo separation and fine balance in between instrumental and vocal parts. The vinyl I've got is flat fine almost on both sides. The only thing I don't like about this release is some minor split to the frontal part of the cover in between its 2 layers. This album got the gatefold jacket. So, it's built that way that the frontal part has not pocket. I don't like when issuing such a gatefold cover they do not glue the frontal layers fine to each other so no any sings of split in between them are there. If there are splits notable(even the minor ones), it looks cheap. That's not the way to go by reputable printing brands. Everything else is just fine with this release especially priced fine under $40 brand new sealed.

Excellent album by Sting in Deluxe Edition with outstanding Captain Bateman's Basement bonus track.
That's a very fine sounding record! Rich and deep stereo experience! Nice bass punch like is normally on Made in USA records. I'm not a big fan of Made in France records in general.
They are fine yet at an average fine level a bit on a flat side. Yet, this particular Made in France release is an excellent work in overall. You can't beat it for the money. Sound wise, I like that single release white 180 gram vinyl Made in France record a little more than this double vinyl deluxe edition one. But, don't take me wrong, the deluxe edition sounds excellent as well. And, with the deluxe edition, you've got 3 bonus records! One of them, the Captain Bateman's Basement is an outstanding composition emphasizing bass solo. It's a "must have" for anyone liking Sting music and his performance for the bass guitar's been his main musical instrument. And, Sting's been a great bass guitarist overall. This short composition having no any lyrics but vocal improvising over the bass guitar leading part is an example of outstanding bass guitarists performance and composing skills. Compare to best compositions and performance say by Marcus Miller, Richard Bona, Victor Wooten and others. So, you get this outstanding extra piece, the Captain Bateman's Basement comparing to the regular single vinyl edition. If you like Sting, buy this Deluxe album. For the money, it's just one the best release out of all albums released for last few years.

Rate and Review Sade - Lovers Rock - FUNK *SEALED*
I've got mixed feelings about this UPC 196587848415 European release. It's an interesting album by Sade. The vinyl record I've got is flat fine on both sides, which is a plus for fine QC. Yet, I don't think this is the most quite record of Sade I've listened to. Some occasional clicking and clacking here and there. It might not be the quality of the printing itself. It might be the mastering embedded effect. Also, in some songs, not all
instrumental and vocal parts balanced fine. Some fading vocal parts are there in some tracks. That is the type/problem of the mastering of cause. I don't like it and don't get it fine. This vinyl is Okay, yet, to me, it doesn't sound better than this album released on CD quarter of a century ago almost. In fact, I'd prefer the CD still remembering some mastering underdeveloped problems with the balance and vocal parts fading and coming back to the front presented there as well. Yet, it's a more pleasurable listening experience still. I don't think there is much reason to buy this particular release on vinyl if you've got the official CD already released long back ago. People say this particular album sounds a way better on the Music on Vinyl release. I have no idea if that is so. I can't say I like how this particular release sounds. It seems underdeveloped somehow on mastering and on how quite it is producing no occasional side noises. The European release of Soldier of Love UPC 196587848514 sounds a way better. Just compare to this one if you get a chance. You should notice a big difference then. Otherwise, it Okay vinyl release. Not too bad if you haven't got any other official release of the album.
