Good cam, but shipping issues can cause internal parts to come loose
2 of 2 found this helpful Good camera for ripping tapes, but the problem is shipping. I've gotten a few of these shipped to me, and for some reason, one of the rubber rollers inside comes loose. But It's easy to fix though. (see my picture). Just put the roller back (if you can find where), and cut the end off of a pen tube (the inside tube with the ink) and put it in the hole where the roller is. It should stay put and not give you error's, but one of the cams i got, still had a motor error's, even after i did the hack fix. -- Other than that, i have not tested the passthrough function yet (like hooking up a vcr to a pc), but it should work fine.

Some MKV files cannot be rewinded or fast forward'd
Roku disabled this feature for some .mkv's because the movies wouldn't sync up after pressing play again. This could be a deal breaker for me. Not sure yet.
