I am a designer & custom deck builder, since 1986. I enjoy my trade, I especially enjoy reading and learning about the new technology and new tools that are available, to us today. I also enjoy helping people with their projects.I will make sure their outcome is successful as well so they can enjoy their decks long into the future, with minimum maintenance. I retired in 2017 because of an injury to my leg, and it hurt my career. But I still enjoy helping others where and when I can. I'm slowly getting rid of some of my tools on eBay. Farm Innovators ICE CHASER works great!
This heater keeps a small hole open in our huge shallow pond of 24" deep. Mostly gold fish left in it, the herons had eaten all my 8" koi before winter set in. I got the 200 watt which works well. Under this heater I have an aeration system which really work in combination with keeping the ice open.
