Rack 'em Up

The roof rack base system is OK. It is an original Mini piece of equipment. The attachment locations, made on the car at the factory are goofy; too far forward and not far enough apart. The ease of installation, well, there is no ease of installation. I watched the Mini-made video of a service tech installing a rack and I understood the theory. The rack mechanism is well engineered but I had to spend a few hundred dollars and waste 1/2 a day having a Mini dealer service center install mine. Explore all your options: The rack is expensive, although mine was discounted The installation is difficult and inflexible but on the plus side there are tools included with the rack The rack is well made This review is no reflection on the seller.

Looks Good, STOPS Good!

Sometimes you want an auto accessory that just looks terrific, you know, beyond stock. My Mini has great power and well balanced handling and stopping power, but... Drilled rotors are just a 'must-have' for me. Got 'em on my Porsche, even had them on my Passat wagon. Well priced, easy install, quality goods. Thanks

You can never have too many P-car bookzzz!

Bought this as a gift for a car buddy. It had photos and diagrams and all sorts of great stuff as well as accounts of successful racing campaigns.
