Best remedy available to break up chest mucous. It is not, however, a cough suppressant.
1 of 1 found this helpful Active ingredient is 100% expectorant instead of a mixture of cold symptom suppressants often found in other similar medications. But be sure to reach for this particular formula of Mucinex (Gualfenesin only) as the multi-symptom relief formula is also available under the Mucinex brand.
