Really Great Alternate to SM7B!
Listen folks, if you want a good "workhorse" broadcast quality dynamic mic in your cabinet, and can't quite afford the Shure SM7B, Presonus's PD-70 is a great substitute (if not quite a clone), even in acoustically unfriendly spaces. The cardioid pickup pattern reduces the amount of extraneous and unwanted background noise entering the mic’s sides and back while focusing on voices in front of it—just what you want for podcasts or radio broadcasts, just like the SM7. But it also excels as a vocal mic, I've had great results using it on snare, kick drum, acoustic instruments, etc. Cheap enough to keep a pair on hand for...whatever. You will NOT regret it. My New Favourite
I wish I had 10 stars to give Adagio Road. This is without a doubt one of the best shaving soaps I've used. What makes it great? The FAT! Fat content in shaving soap is essential because it provides the necessary lubrication and protection for the skin during the shaving process so the blade glides over the surface of the skin without irritating or nicking it. The higher the fat and glycerin levels, the better the lather, and ideally a good shaving soap should have a fat content of at least 30 to 50%. With Adagio, I am able to work up a thick, creamy lather easily with the brush, which doesn't break down while I'm shaving. While I'm keen to try other scents, the Tobacco & Amber is just lovely and makes we wish they made a matching aftershave. The price is fantastic too; I've had much less satisfactory results from other popular artisan shave soaps costing twice as much or more. Keep it up and you'll have a customer for life!

ALL FAT NO LEAN
While my go-to is still the incredibly wonderful Tobacco & Amber, the Sea Salt & Driftwood is a very intriguing scent as well. Mostly, the best reason to love Adagio Road shaving soap is the FAT CONTENT. The fat content (vegetable or in this case tallow, plus glycerin) is essential because it provides the necessary lubrication and protection for the skin during the shaving process so that the blade glides over the surface of the skin without irritating or nicking it. The higher the fat and glycerin levels, the better the lather, and ideally a good shaving soap should have a fat content of at least 30 to 50%. I'd be willing to bet Adagio Road is at the upper end of that scale...it's rich, creamy, good coverage, excellent staying power, and performs better than several other artisan shaving soaps I could mention costing three (or more) times what AR charges. Please don't ever go out of business!
