O.K....... Seller got back to me with an apology of taking too long to respond. He was out of town. He immedialely shipped a replacement out. Do not have it as yet but I'm sure it will be here by Monday according to the tracking. I did canvas other owners and none had the problem that I had so that makes me feel better. I understand that you can get a defect in just about anything in life. I feel confident that the replacement will be just fine. If not I will re-post.

GREAT! JUST AS DESCRIBED..FAST SHIP! SEEMS TO BE PRETTY HEAVY DUTY. GRINDS UP CREDIT CARDS TOO! WOULD BUY ANOTHER WITHOUT QUESTION.

a brilliant piece of tech!
Fantastic thermostat. Much more Tech than I realized but easy to operate. There tech support and help is number one bar none. I'm a very happy camper!
