Very good winter protection for your hands. Not too heavy, absorbs easily. Speeds up healing process for dry skin cuts.

Anthology by Blues Project (The) (CD, Jan-1997, 2 Discs
I bought this because I had been thinking about the Blues Project, I didn't have any Blues Project CDs, and I haven't used my turntable in years. The Blues Project was a seminal New York City blues / rock band of the classic period. The most famous member of the original group was Al Kooper, whom you may recall for the intro to Dylan's "Like A Rolling Stone." Their strong suit was their blues recorded in live performance, and their almost hit, "Wake Me, Shake Me." Their blues recordings made in the studio tend to sound like academic studies of the blues. There are also tracks that sound like they were trying to find their niche by emulating the styles of other artists. Donovan, Gordon Lightfoot, and The Young Rascals come to mind. These, though interesting, are not so satisfying.
