Great game despite frequent crashes
The only reason I cannot give this game an 'excellent' rating is the frequent crashing. I have a brand-new MacBook Pro 15 with upgraded video and memory. Long and the short of it, this game will crash somewhat randomly - when starting a scenario, when editing fireworks, when pausing... there is no rhyme or reason to it I've found yet. You can play for a long time without crashing, however. But I still save after every new ride and in the middle of big rollercoaster building so that I don't lose anything. This has saved me a number of times!
I love the on-ride cams. It makes up for the twitchiness and minor bugs in the game. I came from RCT1 & 2, so I'm used to the complex interface. I do wish this version would make things more consistent though... eg, ride entrances are on the construction menu for rollercoasters, but not on other rides. Why? Just one of the many quirks about RCT3. The graphics are insanely good compared to legacy versions. Sadly, you can't drown vandals like before. Oh well, you take the good with the "bad"!
All in all, I can highly recommend this game to anyone with a fairly sophisticated computer - especially in terms of graphics upgrades. Even with the program's age, it still is a relatively modern-feeling game that is fun for most ages!

Must Have for modern RC
This combo is a fantastic bundle to get the most of your new Traxxas RC. The charger is flexible enough to charge most any brand of modern 2s or 3s LiPo or NiMH. The battery is a great standard for any 3s+ capable ESC.
