Built to Hunt
The Badlands Monster Lumbar Pack meets all the needs of a serious bow or gun hunter out for a day in the out back.. Plenty of room; rugged; comfortable to wear; good looks and a lifetime warranty to boot. The built in hydration system is a waste but easily rectified with all the attachment points supplied by Badlands. Buy with confidence.

A different type of cook book
1 of 1 found this helpful Ree Drummond hit a home run with her book, "The Pioneer Woman Cooks". Her story telling ability and photography make this book a unique choice for any home cooks library. Her recipes look good, but what I like most is the way Ree walks you through each recipe with a step by step photo guide. I was so impressed that I quickly bought a copy for my granddaughter, a high school senior, who is just beginning to spread her wings in the kitchen. She loved it and has already pleased her family with several outstanding meals and deserts.

"Winterkill" by C.J. Box
I've purchased the entire Joe Pickett series, authored by C.J. Box, off e-Bay. "Winterkill" is a quick read, stimulating and fast paced. If you like the outdoors and the politics and issues that face our national park system and the people who protect it, you'll enjoy this book. Box does a great job of putting you where the action is and keeping you there. Although not mandatory, I highly recommend reading this series in order of publication.
