This is my first Dyson and I've always had the $50-100 vacuums. I never understood the big deal behind Dyson because their marketing was always about suction loss and well, if that happens I'll just buy a new cheap vacuum.
But I had been doing drywall work and the old vac didn't have prefect seals (which I never knew before having drywall dust). Got the Dyson and it seems prefect.
I will say, it's a lot heavier than my previous vac and heavier than expected. Also, the I surely don't maneuver the ball like they show on tv. Maybe I need more time to get used to it. Either way, I think it's great.
Work Sharp Knife & Tool Sharpener Ken Onion Edition

Finally a great sharpener
I have been looking for a sharpener for a while. I've tried using stones because it seemed like a less expensive route but I didn't have much luck with my edge. Then I bought some angle guides for the stones and still struggled (and it was very time consuming). I even watch a bunch of videos to try to get better at it and get it right but I just never seemed to be able to get a great edge.
I ended up watching some videos that were comparing sharpeners and this product was ranked as the best so I took a chance buying it. It's super easy to use but you do have to change the belts (but it only takes a few seconds to change them) to a finer grit and it only takes a few minutes to sharpen a knife.
Highly recommend this product and wish that I had just purchased this right out of the gate instead of messing around with the stones.
