Pavlova is my favorite scent.
This is my favorite scent. It is light but long-lasting. I like the cologne and the perfume.

An adequate product, not the best - but what is?
Let me say first that I live in a 2-bedroom apartment in Manhattan, I'm 65 years old and noticing that I'm hard of hearing, and the Radio Shack wall kitchen phone rings only intermittently. (My first Radio Shack wall phone, which was made in the USA, lasted over 20 years. This one, made in China, was barely adequate, badly designed and ringing regularly for only a few months.) So I have to say I'm delighted that I now have phones ringing in the kitchen, the living room and my office (the second bedroom). I'm thinking that the phones I bought were seconds or irregulars - no manual, for example - and that's maybe why some of the letters are already wearing off. I think I'll be able to use them even with this defect and I paid about 1/3 the Amazon price for the same phones from my eBay seller. That makes a difference to me. I'm getting used to them and my life is improved because I can now hear the phone ringing everywhere except when I'm sleeping. I really appreciate that eBay had a seller who could get these phones for me at such a low price.

A work of art and a page turner!
I bought two copies of Up Above the World by Paul Bowles because I wanted to be able to give it to friends. This is a thriller written by one of the English speaking world's greatest writers. Set in an unnamed South American country, it has atmosphere, character and a plot that makes you unable to put the book down. I highly recommend it.
