Good Product, Not suited For All Applications
I'm new to the world of AI. I needed a tank to hold some straws of semen from one of our bulls. This tank looked like it would be a good fit. However, the straws of semen that we have are packaged in canes of ten. The canes are about twice as high as the canisters that come with this tank, so they lean in the canisters.The plug also will not seat all of the way because the canes are so tall that they interfear with the plug.
This is a well made tank, easy to transport and at a reasonable price. Probably better suited for individual straws of semen from smaller livestock. If looking for a tank for cattle semen, you might want to find something a little taller.
