It does seem expensive for a few grams of plastic moulding however it does exactly what it is intended to do, it has been engineered with it’s function in mind. It not only acts as a bleed block for the bleeding procedure but also the other end sets the gap when the pads are fitted.

No real alternative

This did what I required and the tube and fittings are good but it is really rather too expensive, if I could have found an alternative I would have used it. The rubber cover for the compression fitting at the lever end was not as good a fit as the original and leaves a small gap.

Good quality budget price cassette

Good value all steel 11-42t, changes sweetly with Sram GX mech with Sunrace extender and KMC 10 speed chain. Fitted to my Boardman Hybrid Team with Bafang BBS 02 electric conversion so a little extra weight is not really an issue.
