Cast piece of garbage….. DON’T BUY
After mounting this lever on my bike, I depressed the lever a few times to test it when one of the prongs near the pivot hole just broke off. I would be scared to find out what would have happened if I had it out on the trail for a day.
This lever is not cut from a piece of rolled aluminum like good quality levers are. Keep in mind, cast metal breaks when bent, rolled metal will bend and give before breaking. Some idiot decided it would be a good idea to make it from cast metal, probably from scraps of metal around the shop, and then polish it up to make it look like a quality lever. It might as well be made from chrome plated plastic. Don’t buy it, it’s inexpensive for a reason.
