Lamp
Works fairly well for what I want. The buzz feedback when you touch the switches is strange but okay. It folds down so it's a reasonable size to pack and take with me. The infinitely variable switches for color and to dim the lamp take a little while to get used to but are okay. If you are younger than I am ( 70 ) you will probably be very pleased with the lamp and how it functions.

Great Rod
I tried the rod with several different lines. Feels best to me with a SA MPX 5 wt which is a half size heavy. Also tried it with a SA Exp Distance 5 wt and a SA Anadro line for 5 wt rod that weighs about a 6.5 wt std line. Most distance with the heaver line but I would fish it with a MPX. Accuracy at 30, 40, and 50 ft was good. It's not exactly equal to an $800 rod but it's still an excellent rod and should be fun to fish. It's a gift so I won't have a chance to fish it.

Not near as good as expected
Extremely loud clicker. No option to reduce noise. The noise makes it a reel I don't want to use to fish. Contacted tech support about using different springs or reversing the existing springs and was told they are not interchangeable and no others are available. Extremely tiny screws will make it difficult to maintain if disassembly is necessary.
They indicated this was a good as it could get. With all the amazing things built now, that can't the only way it can be done. A different material or shape for the clicker could solve the problem. It's just not worth the effort on a low dollar reel. I need to find another reel for my pretty little 6 ft 2 wt.
