Better Than The Big Bear Claw Types
The narrow two blade head allows you to get around places like a mustache easier than the 4/5 blade wider head razors. Also the thicker blades of the Contour Plus keep their edge longer so more shaves with the same razor. The lubricating strip is OK but you could do without if you used gel based shave cream. The non-lubricating version actually gave you a closer shave but unfortunately you can't get a name brand good blade that doesn't come with the lubricating strip any time this century.

Good Tone And Well Constructed
I like these Manji's because the composite comb gives them a great tone plus the overall quality is above what you find in most harps. The plates are smooth and won't rough up your mouth. If you take it apart you will see that the reeds and plates are more sturdy than most other models. Also you can soak the comb when cleaning and don't have to worry about swelling or warping.
