New life for a Dell laptop

Adequate
I put this battery in an old Dell Inspiron 1000 laptop that I'm going to set up for my grandkids to play learning games on. It replaced the totally dead battery, which was apparently factory issue. Charges quickly, but only lasts about 3 hours before it needs recharging. The laptop was my mother's, so I'm not sure what battery life was originally.
