Great version of a classic
This is a good retelling of the story with some great cast performances - Morgan Freeman and Stockard Channing in particular breathe a fresh life into their characters. Well worth watching

good movie
1 of 1 found this helpful ive wanted to see this movie for a while, and as its not available as a region 2 dvd i had to import a copy to the uk via ebay.
the movie is set in new zealand and stars lynda carter (wonder woman fame) as a former volcanoligist on an adventure holiday at a volcano known locally as "terror peak". she realises early on that the volcano isint as dormant as everyone seems to think, but it takes a while before she is taken seriously. when things are about to blow, her daughter and new husband are trapped up the mountain!
i wanted to see this purely because im a fan of lynda carters work, and i have to say its actually a pretty good movie. ovbiously made on a budget, but it has enough of a storyline and lovely scenery to keep you watching it to the end. id give it 8/10 - if it didnt star lynda it would be 6/10. not a bad way to spend a sunday afternoon so buy a copy, get a bowl of popcorn and enjoy!
