Don't Be Fooled -
Made in China - that creates an image of a cheap poorly made item. But have you thought about that lately? I've noticed that products from China have really improved. The Chinese have listened and they are getting better at this all the time. This VFD is quality throughout. The only gripes I have are minor... The wire terminals are too small - at least for the power input and output. And the manual - although fantastic by Chinese standards could be better. Okay- now this VFD is great. I used to wish I could by machines that ran on 3 phase power but the expense of bringing in 3 phase or buying a 3 phase converter (where they use an electric motor to spin a 3 phase motor which then functions as a generator putting out 3 phase electricity) was just too high.
Now technology has solved this and cheap, reliable 3 phase power is here. I have two of these VFD's at this time and I am very happy with them. I've just begun to explore all of the options and features. Speed control, braking the motor, reversing the direction, and much more.
I did need help on my first purchase and the support I received from Solar Jean was excellent, fast, and we quickly got my VFD up and running.
