Good timer with too low signal volume

Basic adapter
It is a basic adapter ie no safety latch preventing plate slipping nor level bubbles. Description is accurately showing this item. There is provided a tool to tighten thread adapter (nice touch). My problem is that it cannot be mounted to the ballhead that is used in Dolica tripod.
