OK case for the money
This is an adequate case for simple transportation of your rifle, but does not offer much protection against weather or hard shocks. The mag pouches are roomy and will accommodate AK mags well. It should be noted that 38" is the outside measurement of the case, not the inside. Measure your rifle's overall length carefully and add 3" or 4" when ordering to ensure a comfortable fit. In all, if you simply need a case that gets you to the range and back, this is a fair deal.

A little something extra
Adding one round more may not be much, but it may make the difference. The quality is what you would expect of Ruger and functions flawlessly. It also gives you a little extra grip area without compromising concealment. Personally, I don't know why this magazine isn't provided as a standard.

Great replacement battery
The original battery in my Grundig was never very good. A couple minutes of cranking only got me about 15 minutes of radio play. I installed this battery, cranked the generator for about 1.5 minutes, and so far I have gotten more than 45 minutes of play and still plenty of volume. Time will tell, but so far it is a vast improvement.
