1 of 1 found this helpful Ok not many reviews of this knife but I liked the looks of it and the price. I'm impressed with the 10.5" blade hollow ground design and handle, a real classic hunter that feels good to hold and use. I took it out and chopped some small branches batoned with it too. I did need to give it a better sharpening with a few passes of my stone. It razored right up. I tell you that olive wood is beautiful and feels solid . The leather sheath by it self is worth $14. It's nicely made,double stitched and more than adequate for what I need. I treated mine with liquid bees wax protect the stitching and water proofing it gives it a nice look.Is this knife high end $50+ one? No But its a good as any $30+ one. This is a more than nice knife/sheath package at $14, it's a great deal..

Upon inspection and use, I noticed that the upper and lower blades are replaceable just like f's number two's of which their modeled. the blades are nicely (bevel on upper blade) ground and seriously sharp. the fit is smooth and sure. the safety lock, spring and aluminum handle's works smooth and easy also. I took them out and cut some dead and live 1/2 to 3/4" branches. the sheering was clean with no tattered or shredded edges. At five a pair with FREE shipping whats not to like. I got them fast also. With a little care these 8" pruners should last a long time. They break down just like the f''s for cleaning. Buy and extra pair for replacement parts. Now if only the company sold a four dollar leather holster for them that would be the icing on the cake!
