Almost a winner
The pet carrier is quite sturdy, very attractive, and affords your pet a good view of his surroundings. The top is easily removed with four quick release turn screws. It is perfect for removing the top to extract a recalcitrant pet. Be advised the shortcomings are exposed when you return the pet to the carrier and try to replace the top. The metal bars that afford great views do not stay in place when you put the top back on. It's difficult to keep all the moving parts in place so the top will fit nicely and lock the top in place.

OctaBass
My expectation was a clean octave below the note I was playing. The Octabass produces a processed sound with no discernable delay and will complement or replace the note. After working with it for a few minutes I got to like it a lot. I'm using a power supply from Guitar Center ($20) as the Octabass does not come with a power supply. All good.
