It is exactly as titled. No surprises
It's perfect for my purpose. I wanted a flat or matte finish to complement my black bumpers on my 1990 Volvo wagon. I even purchased an extra one.

A great first automotive book for preteens, teens or adults.
My 12 year old grandson had expressed an interest in helping me work on my cars. I'm a British sports car enthusiast and own several "project" cars. After his third request I realized he was serious and it was up to me to keep that spark alive. I checked out our local library to find a basic "how cars work" book that was not too juvenile or too complicated. I wanted to find something that would give him a basic understanding without overwhelming him. I couldn't find what I was looking for at the library. To be honest I wasn't sure what I was looking for but I was sure that I would know it when I found it. And I found it on eBay. The title says it all. After reading the description, I purchased it. When it arrived I was not disappointed. I pretty much read it from cover to cover before I gave it to my grandson. The one page topics are well written. The accompanying drawings are excellent and all parts identified. I honestly believe this is the best book out there for any boy or girl, man or woman that wants have a better understanding of the automobile. It would also be the perfect gift for someone just getting their driver's license too. I firmly believe knowledge is power. I'm wondering if Tom Newton has written a book titled "How Motorcycles Work".
