Better than chains
I haven't used this myself yet. However this is the original snow sock developed in Norway and used extensively in Europe. I have several friends who use this the original product and their good reports is why I bought. You don't need a cheaper knock off when you're stuck in snow in freezing temps

Compact and well made
I thought this would be a 'universal product' for all dashcams with GPS. However it doesn't work with my DOD-Tech. It appears to be well made and probably would work with the dashcam it is made for.
