Doesn't work for me.

I gave it some stars because the case looks and feels nice and, given the price, would have protected my kindle for a while. My kindle didn't quite slide all the way into the bottom "harnesses" despite pushing (its definitely compatible with my model) so it sat a few millimetres above where it should be, but looked fine. However, my kindle then basically either wasn't switching on or, when I got it on, it wouldn't switch off. Since I stopped using the cover my kindle is working perfectly again. It seems the fit is so tight it affects the connections. Also, though not something I had been careful to note before buying, the case doesn't have any means to hold it closed like my old tattered predecessor did. Not a big deal but worth noting.
