A Great Farcical Excursion into Our Past
1 of 1 found this helpful This movie gave me a belly ache the first two or three times I saw it -- from laughing so hard!
It's about the cavalry and old West, but has many elements of the 1960s and 1970s mixed in, not the least of which is a Mariachi singer and his group entertaining in the saloon (I thought it sounded more like Rock than Mariachi.) The story has several interesting twists and includes dialog that seems to be going surely toward expletives and ends up being much more tame. Slim Pickens expresses his disappointment by a pointed, "Ah, Shi--oot!"
I've owned a VHS tape of this for years, but it degraded and became nearly unusable. I was delighted to find and purchase the DVD version, which brought back the audio and video detail nearly equal to my first experience with the movie on the big screen.
While some scenes seem almost contrived; overall, this is a movie worth watching at least once -- or twice -- or, I can't count the times I've seen it. I hope you'll like it at least as well as I did the third time, many years ago.

Whoopi's action combined with Penny's direction - cool!
We were pleased with the condition of the DVD and box, since we bought it used. The movie played flawlessly and we couldn't detect any imperfections.
We were hoping for outtakes, but they evidently didn't do those with this DVD. Even so, it was fun to review the intrigue and antics in the movie.
US Ship 100pcs W/Box Round N50 Neodymium Mini Disc Magnets 3x10mm/0.12x0.39"

Very nice N50 3x10 mm magnets!
My sister bought me some neodymium 3x10 mm magnets for Christmas a few years ago.
They are my favorite for holding papers on my vertical white boards and any other magnetic surface. I decided to get some more and this was a good way to get them.
I tested one magnet from the batch with some sheets of 8½x11" paper. One magnet can easily hold five sheets without slipping while a stack of six sheets does slip a little before it stops in place.
If I needed more of these magnets, I'd certainly place another order right here.
