After comparing these strings with strings I purchased from reputable guitar shops in the UK I very much suspect they are not genuine. There are a number of tall tale signs, incorrect colour of packaging, silver logo incorrect and other small details but when they come apart during tune up and detach from the retaining ring I'm positive they are not what they purport to be. Elixir would not allow them past their Quality Control. I have thrown mine away and advise buyers to be cautious.

Come down in price over the years, these are very good value.
Price wise, can't be beat. Strong and easy to use DMX with good selection of auto programs and STL options. Thinner stand profile makes for an easy pack but would prefer alli stands as steels are quite heavy.
