Needed modification
1 of 1 found this helpful The nubbies on the backside of the buttons are too tall, such that the buttons in the shell were depressing the electronic buttons underneath whenever the case was snapped shut. I had to whittle them down a bit to match the shape of my factory fob; then it worked perfectly.
The build quality is quite good; it is holding up well. I enjoy it, but would not recommend a friend buy this without being aware of the need to modify the fit.

A great surprise!
Several things surprised me about this unit:
(A) the switch being placed on the housing is more handy than the wire-mounted switches commonly used.
(B) having the nozzles tethered together will greatly reduce the chance of getting lost
(C) it is quieter than others I've used.

Bright, good battery life, strong magnet
So far I'm pretty impressed with it. I work in the cold and dark frequently, so the plastic housing makes it comfortable if I have to hold it in my mouth (as opposed to cold aluminum).
