Great product ideal of all those applications in greenhouses etc that needs a small heater - great value for money!
The 12" Tubular 40W heaters are ideal for use in metling honey from wax, when its not possible to extract using a honey spinner. I made a honey metling wooden box that fits a 14 by 12 national Bee hive - the melting unit sits on the bottom with two 12 tubular heaters and a 60W convention light bulb the box is lined with refelective insulation, the heaters are controlled by an external temp control with a temp sensor, honey suppers can be stacked up to increase the height, a queen excluder is used so plastic tubs can be heated when with honey that has become solid, after heating at 40C for 24b hours the honey becomes runny and can be used to filter and bottle.
I re-order another two of these great Tubular heaters to make another honey melter, the pictures shows the Tubular heaters, some wax with honey, and the temp controller, construction of a melter using these heaters can save hundreds of pounds.

Good general purpose Digital Scope
After replacement of the NVR DS1230-120Y, which solved three error codes on power up, and loading the instrument cal data and re-calibration the Scope, and removing internal dust and cleaning the Scope looks looks like new and functions well for a 30 year old scope, clearly it has limitations due to it only being a 10Ms/sec scope in relation to the type of waveform's and frequency which is applied but for a general purpose scope it represents very good value for money.
HP products are well built and preform well, the NVR has an internal LI battery which is designed to store data for 10years so probably the scope was in storage for some years, so after 30 years the NVRam it was well passed it designed life span, would suggest IC DIL 28pin socket is fitted rather then soldering in the NVR chip as new stocks cannot guarantee the same device life expectancy.
