I love this knife not sure about Damascus but its kind of dull looking (not the edge) and it scratched the first time I used it not sure if thats normal but I like it regardless.

Not made from Sandvik its Chinese.

I e-mailed ecop to make sure this knife was made from Sandvik like the description said and they said yes it is and when I got it right on the blade is says 8cr13MoV so that was a bummer. I have a U.S made speed bump and they are very different.
