16X DEEP IMPACT SOCKET Set 1/2inch 10-32mm 6pt Hex Long Reach Sockets Heavy Duty

They are Cr-V, not Cr-Mo.

To be fair they are advertised as Cr-V in the description (but I didn’t read description too close so my fault), but also advertised as “impact” which really isn’t good. They are printed as Cr-Mo AND etched as Cr-V on each socket, so which is it? I sense knock off quality. I’d recommend wearing safety glasses incase these shatter as Cr-V is brittle for impact use. Look for actual Cr-Mo if you can. But these could be good for Lightish use for the money. Be careful.

Superb Rotor

Once bedded to a set of new pads it bites real good. I have read about this ice-tech “sandwich” structure (steel/ally/steel) being prone to warpage and finicky to true back into shape but from my experience so far it’s no harder to true than any other rotor if your sensible, and hasn’t shown any sign of distortion since installation and a few good rides. Can’t fault one bit. Postage was fast, well wrapped/packaged and the rotor kept true through the hands of the mail man!

Simple and clean!

Bought these to convert my downtube shifters to bar end shifters, and they look nice and clean against my old Raleigh frame. Fit very snug like they were made for the bike and the old shifter mountings. They also feature a very slick twist cable adjustment feature. Highly recommend! buy quality or buy twice. You’ll get quality with these!
