Ka-Bar Has Crafted Another Winner!
6 of 6 found this helpful Ka-bar crafted another winner, and American-made at that! A perfect, easy care, non-nonsense design, this one already has a permanent home in my motorcycle tool roll and it even matches the handle of the adjustable wrench right next to it! The size is super convenient, even for back-pocket carry (which I've already tested over a long work day), and if one so desired, by customizing a simple pocket inside biker or cowboy boots, you could have a decent boot knife as well. Constructed from a single chunk of sturdy stainless steel, it feels so good and light in the hand, it would also work well for minimalist campers. The sheath is small but sturdy, provides positive retention, and offers a slot for a narrow belt or tie-on points for a pack. If I could suggest one improvement to the makers, it would be to include an ambidextrous spring belt clip for the sheath, which it does not have. In any case, the Ka-Bar 1119 Wrench Knife is just a great, all-around small knife! I'm so pleased with it, I plan to buy another for my truck go-bag, and another to give as a gift!

An exceptionally fascinating read, with just a hint of a well-concealed, debonaire British smirk of confidence.
This well-presented and profusely-illustrated book is the real deal, extrapolated from the original source documents, and full of additional contextual detail for the student of the 'less publicized' part of allied efforts to win World War II. Just opening the pages you are suddenly thrust into the early training camps, learning the surrepticious arts, and sometimes the not-so subtle methods of the "Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare." Next you are afoot on a cold, damp night behind enemy lines somewhere on the Continent, wearing local garb, hoping your grasp of the local vernacular is accurate, trying to blend into the local populace so you can fight the Axis up-close and personal. At the very least, if you've ever wanted to know something of what Ian Fleming learned before he dreamt up James Bond, this is the book for you.

Bianchi Military Pouches
The Bianchi Military Quad Magazine Pouch I recently purchased was EXACTLY what I was looking for. I own two Bianchi Military holsters of the same nearly-indestructible design and materials (for two different types of pistol) and another Bianchi Magazine pouch for different sized magazines and NONE of them have ever let me down. In fact, I used the very same holster and mag pouch when it was first issued to me on active-duty in the U.S. Air Force. When Uncle Sam's military is the product testing ground for a particular item of field or duty gear, and if that product passes full muster with our troops, it is most definitely worthy of ANY level of civilian life use. I would (and will) be purchasing more Bianchi Military gear in the future.
