Works OK with a couple modifications.
I had to modify the tool to allow the wire to slip into the retaining groove more easily. Hard to describe but the tag end of the wire has to slide past a sharp corner on the tool opposite the loop being formed in order to enter the groove. I took a small Dremel grinding stone to it and rounded it off and now it works much better. It also helps greatly to mount the tool on a wood fixture that can be clamped to a work bench because you need one hand/finger to guide the tag end of the wire into the groove and one hand to turn the crank. I personally could not figure out how to comfortably hold onto the tool at the same time. It would be nice if the tool came with holes pre-drilled for mounting. Once you get the wire into the groove and start turning the crank, the tool works well. In addition, do not try to use this tool with wire any thicker than .025". I started out using .030" and it simply won't work. I'm using .023" now.

Great compact camera
I bought this camera to mount on my bow using the threaded hole that's normally used to mount a stabilizer. Had to make a simple mount with a block of wood and a small metal bracket to do so. Although the video quality is not HD it is MUCH better than the video I've seen on cameras designed expressly for this purpose. In addition, the optical zoom is really nice for taking close-ups of wildlife. The camera is only 10 oz. and very compact so it is not cumbersome at all. When you set the zoom at your desired setting it holds that setting even if you turn the camera off. When you turn it back on it's right where you left it. The picture stabilization works pretty well although it will not keep the picture real steady when I shoot the bow, but you really can't expect it to do that. When I brace the bow against my leg and hold onto the handle I've been able to take some outstanding close-up zoomed video of deer with virtually no wobble. This camera fits this purpose perfectly and I'd highly recommend it to someone trying to do something similar.

Sets up easy and does everything a rest costing twice as much will do.
