An excellent choice for a mini-computer
1 of 1 found this helpful As opposed to a higher priced tablet, I opted to purchase a 'mini-computer' for the purpose I intended to use it. I am a musician and it was important to have the ability to have word processing and spreadsheet capability in order to store lyrics to songs, spreadsheet data related to my music as well as numerous other music related items. A netbook would lend itself well to these needs and I decided on the Acer AOD257 from reviews available online. Battery capacity was sufficient to last as long as was needed during gigs. Additionally, the unit was WIFI capable and came preloaded with the Windows 7 starter operating system.Thus far this little computer has met all my expectations and more.

Seagate Barracuda 7200.9 160 GB ATA-100 Hard Drive
1 of 2 found this helpful The storage capacity is moderately sufficient considering what purposes you intend to use it for. Formatting the drive is somewhat difficult IF you don't already have an operating system in place. My reason for buying this particular drive was the price I got it for on Ebay, to add more storage capacity to a new PC I was building. Although relatively small by comparison to newly introduced drives, 160 GB is currently sufficient for my purposes, but I will be replacing the drive with a larger one in the not too distant future.
