Falls short of expectations
After years of hearing College Hoops was the go-to game for college ball, I quickly realized it wasn't quite for me. The customization and depth of the game is unmatched, but the gameplay falls quite short of it's rival NCAA Basketball 10. I should note, however, that I enjoy a simulation style game rather than arcade, and the gameplay streams I've seen showcases players playing a completely different style of game from what I'd enjoy. So it depends on what you're looking for. If the gameplay realism isn't a deal breaker, then maybe the depth/customization is for you.
Don't listen to the 2k heads. Do more research to see what type of game is right for you. They are different, and cater to different crowds.
