Excellent value with attractive colour-range

As an experienced pastel painter I have tried many products and this particular set is pleasurable to use. Each stick is a generous size, in comparison to more expensive brands. They apply colour very well to the paper and can be pressed quite hard without breaking; the pigment strength is also generous for what seems to be a fairly low-cost range. Colours can be blended together using a finger or a little drop of turpentine. The only downside is that the company doesn't provide information on lightfastness ratings of each colour, so maybe you might wish to carry out your own tests if you are likely to sell your work done with these pastels. These are not kiddies' crayons, but a decent affordable oil-pastel set with a sensible artistic selection of colours.
