First, small ball head mounts for monitors will flop in all directions when loosened..
W/this Andoer, all you need is it to rotate front to back which the does well once the tension is adjusted.
Using this between a FeelWorld 279 7" monitor and adjustable frame and camera mount.
I have tried the heavy duty plastic mounts and the all metal w/mods, and like this Andoer best for it's low profile & perceived secure build.
I have added adapters to the adjustable frame to offer different mounting points in relation to the cameras.
You can buy this under a different name with a lever to loosen/tighten the friction mounts, but they are 3 times the price..!!
Although you'll need the Allen wrench to adjust the friction, once it's set the friction remains secure.
Yes, I would buy it again and did..
