Charges my phone pretty swiftly.
The build quality is outstanding.

Impressions of just getting it put together and using it for the first time
When I first got to the box it shipped in I noticed it looked a bit dented, probably from shipment. Upon opening the box you can see the chair parts wrapped with bubble wrap and the chair seat/back is wrapped in a plastic sealed bag. Nothing was missing and it wasnt damaged at all so the box held up its part of the job. A very easy assembly job, even more so with the instructions included with the wrapped seat. The wheels went into place like a charm and the piston was quite a simple setting into the slot in the wheel rack upto the bottom of the chair chassis. Putting the back onto the chassis was a bit aggravating when DIY but over all nothing major at all. The chair arms went on with ease, I will admit that they could use a little more structual enforcement for the elbows. I can feel the inner material give way a little but I believe as long as you dont just ram your elbow into it intentionally with force, it'll hold up. The seat feels nice and firm to the glutes and the lumbar support does feel like its a nice press to the lower back, nothing extreme. The piston works nicely and fluidly, I am quite pleased with its performance. I would strongly advise the use of caution when scooting closer to your desk. The chair does roll fairly well but when on carpet the friction kinda holds you a little and if you are off balance in the seat the wheels feels like you're going to fly front out of your chair and its a simple thing to prevent with awareness. The footrest had me very stumped when I had the chair together. It kinda was in the way of the natural "waterfall" your legs do when you are sitting down in/on something and I was thinking "i'm going to have to take this thing off.." BUT, after examining it, I learned you can simply pull it out like you're going to use it and the footrest swivels backwards. This feature is for when you're not going to be using the footrest and it easily goes back under the seat while making the chair flush with your legs, allowing that "waterfall" effect to be natural. I weigh about 165lbs and I'm fairly certain this chair is holding me up quite effectively. I forgot to mention the reclining feature works well, I would say to only have yourself on it and not someone else joining you in the seat to recline but that is common sense. The chair locks in whatever position you like. I will say for the price I paid this is a good chair and I would recommend it.
The instructions do mention about the footrest swiveling for convenient storage, I thought i'd include that before closing
