Good little film for what it was

Bought it for a former Marine grunt friend who doesn't order online. He let me borrow the DVD when he was done with it Platoon meets The Alamo is basiclly what you get here. For better or for worse, a Marine unit has to stand their ground against a constant onslaught of VC while utilizing minimal resources. For a lower budgeted film, it was better than I thought it would be. Loved some of R. Lee Ermey's dialogue! Don't look for a beautiful transfer here on DVD, you won't find it. Some parts look down right horrible with a lot of grain. But it is what it is. Siege Of Firebase Gloria is hard to find anyway. Just be glad you have a copy, and hope for a nicer release in the future.
