Makita 9901 3'' Belt Sander 6.7 A

Very nice, versatile sander

Almost identical to my Chicago Electric 69859 that I got at HF except the dust bag is way better quality on the Makita and mounts to the sander much more solid! I will say, however that after all the use put into the Makita, the belt does not track quite as well anymore as the newer Chicago Electric one does. It's a HUGE advantage to me that this sander sets very solidly upside down on a tabletop w trigger-lock engaged to round off edges, shape, etc.!!!!

Metabo Disc Grinder W8-115

Robust, well-made, easy to use grinder

Very high quality. Compared to my Makita 9557NB, this Metabo is stronger, has a much nicer and easier to use guard, is quicker to change accessories on, has a longer cord, & better, more positive switch that does not get accidentally turned off. Trade-off is this has a bigger barrel, which may be harder to in-hand in use.
