Easy to replace
My Samsung tv was not responding to the remote so as a last ditch effort I replaced the IR sensor. Well the sensor worked fine but unfortunately my 5 year old 55 inch HD Samsung tv is just junk. I will never buy another Samsung product again and from what I read in Consumer Reports magazine their appliances are not any better. I will say that replacing the sensor only took me a total of 20 minutes.

It works but not great.
The shell case is pretty straight forward to assemble, your just taking the guts from your old case and putting them in the new one. I recommended this product because its far far cheaper than replacing with a factory fob and I said it was a good value because what do you want for around 15 bucks. That said, the problems I had was the rear cover that came with the case would not snap into place, but if I took the cover from my original factory fob it went right on, lucky me it was still usable. Also, the buttons for the trunk and panic alarm seem to be stiff and harder to push than the lock, unlock and engine start. This is not a huge problem for me because this is only a back up fob and I never use the panic button plus there are trunk buttons at the rear of the car and inside. I don't regret buying the case but was a little disappointed. It's a shame Lincoln does not sell replacement cases.
