Slow for me. Not necessarily the drive's fault.
0 of 1 found this helpful This drive can't seem to make up its mind if it wants to work fast or slow. I've seen transfer speeds as slow as 700KB/s while transferring a single 1 Gb file. However, I'm not entirely blaming the drive, there are many other factors in play too. (Though with an i7-7700HQ and 16 Gb Ram. Other than that sole thing, this is a great little drive. I posted this on the Linus Tech Tips forums under Storage Devices titled "New Hard Drive with Slow Speed" by Jennadi.

Great value.
A really good value. The case, once you peel the protective covering off the acrylic, it looks amazing. The keyboard thing is really useful it works perfectly with the Pi 3, Linux Mint and Windows 7, (That's all I've tested it on) as advertised. Both the power supply and the HDMI cable, are just that, they aren't too exciting., they get the job done quite well. The third little heatsink, there is enough clearance on the other side to put it on top the chip on the bottom of the board. Once it is all assembled and the covering has been removed on the acrylic, The Pi looks beautiful. It looks like a real small computer (Yes, I know that's what it is..)It does get covered in prints easily, though that is unavoidable no matter what material is used (Acrylic, Polycarb, or Glass....) Other that that, That's all I have to say.
