Birds don't seem to know it's there
1 of 3 found this helpful Even though we have the same seeds etc in this window bird feeder as in our previous one, the birds don't seem to know it's there. It's in the same place as our previous one, and before there was a constant stream of birds, especially coal tits mainly in the early morning, feeding on the contents. However, the new one has had no visitors, and I wonder whether it is too clear to be visible. We have even tried sticking coloured plastic to the roof of the feeder, to make it more visible.
The best point about the feeder is that it does not obscure our view of the garden, but we were hoping to see some birds.
We wish we'd not bothered with this feeder at all.
