Okay product. Needs more RAM, an SSD
1 of 1 found this helpful Bought to experiment with digitizer and for portability/tablet mode. It works fine, but I would suggest upgrade to 4gb RAM and replacing the horribly slow 60GB 4200RPM ZIF hard drive with at least a 64GB ZIF SSD. Also, mine came with b/g wifi...upgrade that to a b/g/n wifi card. Also, my version did not come with a webcam (I knew that before I bought it). My main issue with this laptop is that HP whitelists wifi cards, which is annoying and the other miniPCIE slot is for WWAN cards (it has USB configuration, so no other miniPCIe card will function there). It feels very solidly built and functions well overall, especially after installing Windows 7 64bit (came with Vista). As this is my first digitizer tablet, I cannot compare that function. At least it is better than a most, if not all, netbooks and some other ultraportables.
