Think for yourself.
"Healing of America" is a good book for those who have zero knowledge of the healthcare system, but urge to get their feet wet in knowing the main working opinions within the United States. I'm finishing my 4th year of medical school and, for those of us who have seen and read some things, this book doesn't do much outside of hearing the typical opinion of a wide-spread educated voice.
If you're a scientist, nurse, pharmacist, doctor, teacher, graduate student, or even an avid news watcher, I wouldn't bother with this book. It's highly opinionated and the author could have provide more details behind the formulation of his claims. For anybody, I would say: watch the news and look up stuff on the internet. Have an open mind, keep learning, and you'll catch on to most of this stuff on your own.
