Luv this pedal!
My main bass drum pedal is a DW strap drive 6000. I wanted a backup pedal and saw that this Gibraltar pedal was very similar at less than half the cost. I am very pleased with the Gibraltar. It may be my go to pedal now. I prefer pedals without base plates because they do better on uneven surfaces and are easier to pack.

Not the one pictured
The cymbal arm is high quality DW hardware and was a good value for the cost. However, the one I received was not the one pictured. I wanted to use it on a vintage kit and expected the one with the simple wing nut tightener, not the longer plastic arm. I'll use it, but am a bit disappointed.
