OEM can't be beat
plowing my long driveway and half of the neighborhood's driveways, I am spend a lot of time on tractor during snowstorms. I wear out a set of OEM chains every season (about 120-150 hours of plowing). I have bought non OEM chains and they have only lasted one good snowstorm (8-15 hours of plowing) as they were only about half the weight and half the thickness and seemed to be very soft. Moreover, they seemed to be made of cheap mild junk metal, as by about 8 hours of plowing, I had broken links flapping on both wheels by the end of one good snowstorm. These OEM chains are thicker, harder, and last an entire season, so the extra cost is not just worth it-but a smart buy! Thanks!
